to the point

Brevity by Sam Lemon

Why should I tell you in a thousand words,
what I could easily tell you in five?
Or with a look,
why should I say anything at all?

Mark twain summed it up when he said, “I didn't have time to write a short letter, so I wrote a long one instead."

Life would be much simpler, if we remembered five little words. Just get to the point.
